WASH AND GO

Two cylindrical elements, entirely covered with colored tights, start a hypnotic movement of rotation, challenging the public to pass between them. The image of the artwork, associated with the title, immediately recalls the devices for cars automatic washing and reminds us of the strange comfort and isolation we feel when we risk staying inside cars during the short but slow course of washing. In the work of Vasconcelos, Wash and Go - a concept that appeals to what is easy, fast and effective of the devices that wash almost miraculously - is short-circuited and transferred to the world of fashion. Repetitive, colorful, dazzling, seductive, hypnotic movements… Isn’t this Fashion? We pass between the two cylinder "brushes" again and again and nothing happens? Apparently most certainly not, but here the target of the action points in other directions.
