Joana Vasconcelos' exhibition at the Liria Palace is a unique project in which the Lisbon-born artist, one of the most outstanding creators in the contemporary art scene, will intervene in the salons and gardens of the Liria Palace, blending with one of the most important private historical-artistic collections in the world, which includes works by artists such as Velázquez, Goya, Rubens, Titian, and Murillo. It is the first time she has brought her works to a grand lived palace, unlike other interventions in historic spaces such as the Palace of Versailles. The exhibition will be open to visitors at the Liria Palace from 14 February and will also offer a unique opportunity to explore lesser-known corners, such as the stunning gardens—usually closed to the public—where visitors will be able to marvel at some of the artist's most iconic works.
