Airflow displays a kinetic device of fluttering colourful ties. The two-dimensionality of this arrangement is openly contradicted by the choreography of the neck ties' movement, evoking fashion, vested with male power and phallic associations, in order to stage a dialogue, simultaneously parodic and solemn, combining sculpture and painting.
